Review policy

Only a buyer whose order has been delivered can leave a review. After delivery you can review the seller and each product from that order.

Per order you can add one review of the seller and one review of each product you bought.

Every review is linked to an order placed on picksy. Before a review is saved, we check that the order belongs to the person leaving it, that it has been delivered, and that the reviewed seller or product really is part of that order.

Without such an order, a review can't be added. That is why every review on picksy comes from someone who bought from that seller.

A review is published as soon as it is added. It consists of a rating from 1 to 5 and a comment of up to 300 characters.

Next to a review we show the author's first name and the first letter of their last name (for example Anna K.) and the date. Reviews are shown newest first.

We remove reviews that break the Terms of service (§ 13), in particular when they:

• break the law or infringe someone's personal rights,
• contain offensive content,
• are spam,
• are not about the purchase.

We don't pay for reviews, we don't offer discounts or other benefits for them, and we don't change the ratings people give.

Sellers may not post reviews of their own products, commission fake reviews or manipulate ratings.

The average rating is the mean of all published ratings, rounded to one decimal place. Reviews removed for breaking the rules are not counted.
